I can't open any of them (can't use Firefox, iTunes, Photoshop, etc. I did a quick scan and a full scan using avast! Free Antivirus, but neither of them found any virus. Is there any way for me to recover my files?

Would uninstalling the program I downloaded fix this? This is the message I get every time I try to open one of them: Except for a few of them, they all changed their icons to the paper with the folded corner.
